We woke up to exciting news today: One of our novels, Barring Complications won a prestigious Rainbow Award for 2015!

Congratulations to Ylva author Blythe Rippon whose book won in the Debut Lesbian book category.

Barring Complications was also was a runner up in multiple categories: Best Lesbian Book and Lesbian Contemporary Romance, Erotic Romance & Romantic Comedy. We couldn’t be more proud, Blythe!

And that’s just the tip of the iceberg: A total of four Ylva authors made it into the top ten list in the Lesbian Debut category, and our authors took places 2,3, and 4 in the Lesbian Contemporary Romance, Erotic Romance & Romantic Comedy category.

Here’s how it all broke down:

Fletcher DeLancey’s The Caphenon: Best Lesbian Book, Lesbian Debut, Lesbian Sci-fi/Futuristic

G Benson’s All the Little Moments: Best Lesbian Book, Lesbian Debut, Lesbian Contemporary Romance, Erotic Romance & Romantic Comedy categories

Emily O’Beirne’s A Story of Now: Debut Lesbian category

Jae’s Under a Falling StarBest Lesbian Book, Lesbian Contemporary Romance, Erotic Romance, & Romantic Comedy categories

Caren Werlinger’s Turning for Home: Lesbian Contemporary General Fiction

Jae & Astrid Ohletz’s Don’t Be Shy anthology: LGBT Anthology/Collection

Of course, we think all our authors are winners, but it is sometimes nice to have our instincts validated. Congratulations again to our authors who were recognized for their talents!
