This is the story of Jorie, a human dream seer, and Griffin, the liger shape shifter sent to kill her. Ooh this is so good!! I love shifter stories and this one was the most unique one I’ve read. Lesbian Ligers? A human lover? And all the creatures who have conspired to kill off humans? It is so intense and thrilling. I wasn’t sure what was going to happen and I was really frightened for this unique couple. It’s the story about faith, misguided loyalty, family and following your heart. You are going to love this one.

I’ve read this book a month back, and right now I’m on the sequel True Nature. I got to say i really love Jae’s writing style. It’s really enjoyable to read. I started reading from her contemporary romance like Wrong Number Right Woman, Perfect Rhythm, Not the Marrying Kind, Just for Show, The Roommate Arrangement, all of her Hollywood series I really enjoy her story, characters and writing a lot.
Next i read her Oregon Series, I was honestly a bit reluctant to read as i have very little knowledge on how the old west looks like. Instead I love that series a lot! Despite the theme and settings of the story change, Jae’s style/ taste of writing is something very evident and enjoyable in any settings she choose to pick. So i choose to try her shape shift series. And I am not let down, Second Nature is a book I enjoy a lot. I really enjoy the way she set up the world with the Wrasa ( the shape shifters ). There are a lot of Glossary terms of the shape, but I’m able to follow quite decently. Unlike her other contemporary romance book, there is more urgency to the main character involving them racing against time. The story telling is as beautiful as always.
Right now I’m reading the 2nd novel True Nature, and I really enjoy her shape shifter series a lot! I’ll highly recommend
