I’ve read approximately 10 books by Jae. This Sparks is by far my favorite. Don’t get me wrong, I really love her previous stories and characters. This one really push it one level higher.
I especially like Scottie. She is so charming. The story is also very enjoyable, I especially love the elevator scene. I find it rather adorable.
Usually when writers wrote about characters that has a bit realistic/ cynical like Willow, it’s quite difficult to write them to be likeable. But I really like how Jae portrays Willow’s character. I feel when I read the story, I’m sincerely rooting for both Willow and Scottie.

Jae’s best work by far! Both characters were just loveable – especially Scottie. She’s the greenest of green flags. I might have a crush on a fictional character 😂. I loved every interaction, not only between the two protagonists but also with every side character. Looking forward to hopefully seeing one or another figure again in a future release. The pace and the length of this novel were perfect and necessary for the story to turn out as it did. I really didn’t want this book to end and enjoyed every second of it.
