I had fallen for Lauren and Catherine in The Red Files so I was thrilled to find this little gem. It is a follow up but also works as a stand alone. This seductive, sexy short finds us at Lauren’s last LA party. Catherine comes back to help make the night memorable, so hot!
    Great job Ms Winters.

It’s hard to say a lot about a story that is only a little over 20 pages, so as per the story, I’m going to keep my review short and to the point.

For a shortie, this story lacked for nothing, although for me, that is in-part due to the fact I met our leading ladies in The Red Files. In that story they could barely stand each other, until the very end.

Two weeks on their relationship has grown in leaps in bounds.

The chemistry between them is palpable as is their growing love for each other. I’m not sure if this was cut from the main story, or written as an afterthought, not that it really matters. It was a quick read that floated my boat.

If you’re looking for a naughty shorty with engaging characters and off the charts chemistry, this might just be the ticket.

NB – The story is extremely well edited and flows well.

If you read Lee Winter’s exceptionally well-crafted, fun, captivating “The Red Files,” you simply MUST read this follow-up mini-sequel! It’s all about my favourite caustic-tongued, unapologetically cool & collected Catherine Ayers and her irresistible former nemesis-turned lover & partner-in-crime, Lauren!

An evening of sexy times together to celebrate their final night in LA before relocating to D.C.! Who can resist, eh? 🙂

Reading an update on Catherine & Lauren, one of me favourite couples in lesfic, was an utter joyous, “phwoar” experience! You’ll know what I mean when you read this not-to-be-missed sequel! 😉

It would be a shame if you’ve read “The Red Files” not to read and review “Flashbang” as well. So here I am, doing exactly this:
“Flashbang” is a treat you can absolutely enjoy as a standalone, it’s sexy as hell and believe me when I say you won’t look at balconies the same after reading this and if you’re humming Björk’s “It’s oh so quiet” during/afterwards – don’t be surprised it’s all Catherine’s doing by permanently telling Lauren to be …so.very.quiet…damn you Cathrine 😉
