This is a sweet story about a starving writer and the woman who believes in her. I loved this one, so worth the read!!

I was very disappointed in the Twist of the Magi in that it ended far too soon. What a sweet story! I really liked it. I felt the perseverance, the lesson about judging a book by its cover, the cold, Germantown and finding a friend when one is so desperately needed. I drank the ersatz hot chocolate and petted the lame cat of the main character and felt…. Christmas for just a moment. 4.5 stars.
I’m gushy now. I will check back when i am more rational.
